Payment Policy

Your payment plan scheduled is outlined above and you will receive an invoice 7 days before each scheduled payment date. Please ensure that your payment is made on time to avoid project delays and late payment fees as outlined in our Agreement


Design revisions aren’t always necessary, but you do have three rounds of revisions, if needed, included in your project. If you will require more rounds than that, then we’ll jump on a call to discuss the changes and an additional fee will be added to your final invoice.


Communication is incredibly important for our project to run smoothly and launch on time. If I don’t hear from you for 7 consecutive days, I may freeze the project until further notice and a 20% restart fee will be required to get us back on track.

Communication & Boundaries

During our project, we’ll use Asana to keep track of all our tasks and deadlines, and keep all communication in one place. This means that from now, we’ll stop using emails to avoid long email threads and risk losing track of our deadlines, files and to-do’s.

Asana is a free project management tool, so you don’t need to pay for anything. You’ll simply receive an invitation from me to join your project and you’ll be all set!

When presenting concepts or going through revisions, we may jump on a Zoom call to go through the presentation and questions live – I’ve found that this really helps the project to progress faster!

I only work with a couple of clients at once to ensure speedy communication, however please be mindful that we may be in different timezones when expecting a reply from me. My office hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-6pm CET.

Feedback Guidelines

At different stages throughout the project, you will be asked to provide feedback on design concepts, colours, fonts, etc. Providing feedback can be hard, but it’s important to make it constructive to ensure the project can move forward smoothly.


This project is of course very close to your heart but it’s important to always keep your target audience top of mind and not get caught up in personal preferences. Therefore, instead of sharing what you like/dislike personally, try to view it from your Ideal Client’s eyes and think about how would they react to the design. Remember, at the end of the day, this project is all about them!


Vague or contradicting feedback can create confusion and set us back, therefore try to be as specific as possible when providing feedback. Focus on one element at a time and try to explain why you like/dislike something and provide a suggestion on how I could improve it. For example, instead of saying “I don’t like this colour“, try “I don’t think this colour will appeal to our audience because […]. Perhaps we could try a warmer colour?


My design process is very intentional and I always ensure that each element is built with purpose. So while I will do my best to walk you through my thought-process, don’t hesitate to ask questions if you’re unsure about something. This also helps show that you value my opinion and trust my expertise – at the end of the day, there’s a reason why you chose me as your Partner for this project, right?

The Tools We Use


Asana is the main tool we’ll use for your project. This is where we will keep track of all conversations (no more emails!), tasks and deadline. You’ll be able to get a clear overview of your project at any time within the app.


We’ll use Zoom for all our consultation calls. Zoom is great because it allows us to see each other (almost like a real coffee date!) and I can share my screen to take you through presentations for easy live feedback.


Billingo is my billing system. I will send you payment requests for every upcoming payment. You will have 8 days to transfer to amount. When the amount arrives, you receive an invoice. Click on the button below to access your Invoices.

Google Drive

I use Google Drive to store all my project files. At the end of the project, I’ll send you a link to download your files and store them in a safe place as the link is only available for 30 days after project end.


What if I want to add something to the project?

The deliverables outlined on this page and in your Agreement are what we agreed to for your project fee. However, if you would like to add something extra then I would love to provide you with an estimate and add it to your project. Simply reach out to me with your thoughts and ideas so we can discuss how it aligns with your business goals and we can discuss the next steps then.

What if I can't make my next payment?

Your payment plan schedule is outline on this page, as well as in your signed Agreement and it’s important that the payments are made on time in order for the project to run smoothly.

You will receive a payment request via Billingo 7 days prior the due date and you’re expected to make the payment on time. Please make sure you add Billingo emails as trusted source and check that the emails don’t end up in you spams.

If you fail to clear the invoice within 14 days of the payment due date, a late fee of 10% of the total amount will be added to your account per each day that the invoice remains unpaid.

If you know you’ll have trouble making the payment on time, please let me know ahead of time. 

What if I need extra revisions?

You have 3 rounds of revisions on designs included in your project which should be enough for us to come to the perfect final creative solution. If extra rounds of revisions are required, we’ll jump on a call to discuss the additional required changes and I will provide an estimate which will be added to your final invoice at the end of the project. 

What is I'm late giving feedback?

We will set due dates for all our tasks in order to ensure we’re on track with your project. It’s important that we maintain clear communication throughout the project and hit our deadlines.

In the event where I am expecting some information from you that prevents me from moving forward in our project, and I don’t hear anything from you for over 7 days, I will be at liberty of freezing your project until further notice and a 20%  restrart fee (of the total project) will be due to get us back on track. I definitely want to avoid doing this, so please let me know if you’re unable to hit your deadline as soon as possible.

What if I have an emergency and need to postpone?

In the unfortunate event where you need to postpone a project due to an emergency, please let me know as soon as possible. Based on the circumstances, I will do what I can to work with you. However, it may be possible that I will have to freeze a project and a 20% restart fee will be required to get you back into my calendar.

Please try to let me know as soon as possible so we can work out a solution together.

What if I want to cancel my project?

I truly hope this won’t happen, but if for any reason you want to cancel your project and we can’t come to a solution to make it work, then you can do so by writing me an email and informing me of your cancellation request.

Cancelling a project doesn’t relieve you of any outstanding payment obligations and, depending on where we are in your project and how much has been done, I may not be obliged to refund any portion of monies previously paid. For any questions, please refer to your Agreement or contact me directly.

What if I need to contact you urgently?

Communication through Asana is the best way to get my attention and reach out to me as I receive an instant notification when you send a message there.

If something is extremely urgent, type [URGENT] at the beginning of your message to attract my attention. Please be mindful of the fact that we may be in separate timezones and my office hours: Monday-Friday from 10am to 6pm CET.

Can I share sneak peeks online?


I personally love sharing little snippets of my process and behind the scenes with my audience on Instagram and I encourage you to do the same! I’ll be grateful if you could tag me in your posts (@design_youneed) so I can then share it too.

If for any reason, you’d like to keep your project secret, please let me know and I won’t share anything until the grand reveal.
